BACKGROUND INFO;

Pewa was born 22 years ago and was raised in Western Kenya at Webuye. He attended St.Mary’s Kibabii in Bungoma.

MUSIC JOURNEY;

He started rapping back then while in high school. During those days, Pewa used to remix the already established artistes songs and then perform during schools functions. After high school, he joined Audio Kusini Studios which is located at Kahawa Wendani along Thika Road. It’s under the management of Audio Kusini that Pewa has managed to release four tracks; Mwisho WA Mwezi, Kijiji Na Jiji, Nipeni Kura Zenu and recently Cheza Kinanda. He is also set to release more singles and collaborations soon.

ROLE MODELS AND INSPIRATION

Musically, I look up to artistes like Nonini, Prof. Jay and Fid Q (Tanzania) and internationally the likes of Eminem Akcent and Edwards Maya. M y music inspiration is drawn from daily happenings and trends.
